Notice the netting. Actually rather difficult to install, it has since
been
re-installed correctly.
You can kind of see the new paint on deck, it looks very light gray.
Only in non-skid areas. Also notice the wind indicator unit, located in
a temporary home until I establish a more appropriate location.
Here you can see the paint better. When this photo was taken, I had
not yet completed the cabin top.
Notice the new bulkhead built for the navigation station. The station
is located just on the opposite side of the new striped bulkhead panel.
New navigation station All was built from recycled building supplies.
The table drops down for access to this birth. On the left is a wind
speed
indicator, moving right is a Loran receiver and new Icom marine radio.
The Loran receiver allows you to navigate with limited visibility. It
can guide you back to any previously visited location using a "way
point",
or to any location for which you have coordinates. A great deal for
only
$20 at the local Marine Exchange. Notice the appropriate charts, and
chart
shelf. Recent re-build work also in the photo include: the lower
bulkhead
panel and wall panel under the new work table, as well as the carpet
which
runs the length of the birth.
