LinBolo requires the True Type Font Courier New to display text.
(And will not run without one) At time of writing I have not found
a free version I can redistribute. You can find many on the web or
use your own if you have windows installed. You can also download
one from here: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fontpack/default.htm.
Once downloaded copy it into your LinBolo directory called "cour.ttf."

LinBolo runs inside a window on your X Desktop. Subsequently it is
subject to X's final copy to display the image on screen. X Windows
is designed to allow remote usage of windowed environments not real
time games. To provide real time graphics updates in X windows uses
a lot of CPU power. You may need to adjust your frame rate and/or stop
other task for best performance.

LinBolo Brains can be stored in both the brains directory inside LinBolo
directory in the user's .linbolo directory. When LinBolo is run it
creates a directory. linbolo in the users home directory to store
the preferences. Inside this folder is a folder called brains. Plugin
brains can also be stored in this folder.

The following features are not yet implemented on LinBolo. Look for them
in a future version:
* Localisation (Language) support and background sound.
* Map preview in map file selection window.
* Double/Quad size screen modes.
* Customised sounds
