Semi-Automatic shoot (March 2006)

Rick Bush, Director.

Alex Dee as proffesional killer Jason Blaine. His only line in this shot... "See what I mean?"

Director of Photography Maeve O'Connell and I discuss the lighting of Alex's groin. I think a backlight would give it more depth.

BBC For Schools programming will commence in 5 minutes with "Making a living out of killing".

Finding the right angle with a DV camera, always handy.

Joe Baker as generic Columbian drug dealer type after being shot in the head with the guacamole gun. (Rodriguez style.)

We here at The London Film School believe that everyone should be able to take part in filmmaking no matter what their handicap. Maeve with proffessional Camera Assistant Brian Udoff.

Special Effects wizard James Ballard hooks up the explosive squibs strapped to Alex as he calms his nerves, smoking a cigarette in front of a puddle of petrol.

Blood packs and squibs under Alex's shirt and ear plugs all round as the crew prepare for his "death" scene.

Was his face supposed to be engulfed in flame?

You've got red on you.
