Note for August 15, 01: - Ian and I wanted a nice easy and fast scramble to start off our trip. We started from Moraine Lake at 5:00 P.M. The sun was far out on the horizon so it was a clear view but didn't have the extreme heat. It took us around 1 hour and 15 minutes to ascend and under a half hour to descend.

Note for July 31, 04: - Went up Tower of Babel after work. One hour up, half an hour down. We left Moraine Lake at 9:00PM. I left my headlamp in the car so it was interesting coming down the gully without it.

Note for Sept 04: - Tanner Wulff aka T-Double-Yaz and Sergio the Russian both of them first time scramblers. Another crazy night in Louise. We left the trailhead at dusk and reached the summit in an hour. Coming down the gully at night with one LED headlamp was pretty slow but we had all the time in the world. Great scenery and friends.

August 15, 01- After following the Consolation Lake trail for about 5 minutes we quickly bushwacked past tree-line and got started up the gully. Here is a picture of the gully that you ascend. I think it took us around 45 minutes to ascend this part of the Tower.

August 15, 01- At the base of the cliffs, we found this cool photo opp. I think the picture would have looked alot better if the sun was on the other side. Moraine Lake is visible below the cliff. The lower cliffs of Mt. Temple are also visible.

July 31, 04- The same picture three years later.

July 31, 04- Colin climbing some slab with Mount Temple in the background.

July 31, 04- On the summit with no light left.

August 15, 01- At the summit we found dozens upon dozens of large cairns. Some cairn fiend went crazy on the summit and made a couch, chair, and coffee table! Thanks to that person for spending those hours on the top. Here's Ian and I relaxing on the top and taking in the views.
