Just For You Written and Performed by: The Standards Spoken: "1-2-3-4-1-2" Voices Harmonizing " Ooooooooh" "You've got the brightest smile I haven't seen in a while." *The Quest kids first meeting. Jessie peeks out from behind her dad and gives a small smile. The Quests are surprised when Jonny smiles back, something he hadn't done much of since his mother had died.* "Though it's funny for me to sing this to you." *Jonny singing for a giggling Jessie at the top of his lungs.* "I don't care you're my only dream." *Jonny strokes back the hair of a sleeping Jessie who is using his lap for a pillow.* Chorus: "Hey, hey, hey. Why don't you go my way?" *Jonny trying to persuade Jessie to follow him into a dangerous situation.* "Cause you're good looking, nobody has to tell me." *Jonny beats up a guy who had been forcing himself upon Jessie.* "And this is just for you. Oooooh. Just for you. Oooooh. " *Jessie and Jonny dancing as he mouths the words in her ear in sync with the music.* "I think we all mutually agree, doesn't she got the look that makes the head turn?" *Jessie walks down the hall at a school and every male head turns to watch her.* "But it's not your fault. Beauty's what we call natural. It's a funny thing." *Jonny is at the end of the hall laughing at the guys. Jessie turns, sees them, and begins to laugh herself. With Jonny's around Jessie they walk away together.* Chorus: "Hey, hey, hey. Why don't you go my way?" *Jonny asking Jessie to go to the formal dance at their school with him.* "Cause you're good looking, nobody has to tell me." *Jessie at the top of the steps in a formal gown. Jonny at the bottom has an awed expression on her face.* "When I am gone and you're alone, my steps are slow." *Jonny all alone in a quaint European town walking slowly his mind obviously else where by the far off, dreamy look in his eyes.* "Well again my heart will go to that girl who made me want to sing out." *Jonny looks up upon hearing his name and sees a laughing Jessie.* "And I said, hey, hey, hey. Why don't you go my way?" *A dressed up Jonny leads a blindfolded Jessie who wears an evening gown down a hall.* "Cause you're good looking, nobody has to tell me. Backup: Nobody has to tell me baby." *He removes the blindfold to reveal a romantic, candlelit dinner for two. He leans in close to her ear and whispers something to her that makes her smile softly.* "Well I said, I said Hey, hey, hey. I said you wanna go my way?" *Jonny suggesting that they go out.* "Cause you're looking, nobody has to tell me." *Jessie's head turns at the sound of a wolf whistle, an unhappy look on her face. Jonny also turns to reveal that he is ready to beat the dickens out of whomever the whistle had issued from.* Spoken: "Come on sing it out now." Sung: "Hey, hey, hey. Why don't you go my way?" (Clapping to the rhythm in the background) *In a school hall, Jonny's mouth moves in sync with the words of the music as a group of guys behind him clap to the music.* "Cause you're good looking, nobody has to tell me." *Camera pans around to show a smiling Jessie who listens intently.* "Oh sing it one more time. Hey, hey, hey. Why don't you go my way?" *Jonny continues to sing to Jessie.* "Cause you're good looking, nobody has to tell me." (Clapping ceases and singing softens) *The group behind Jonny disappears and Jonny and Jessie are left standing alone an entirely black room.* "And this is just for you. Ooooooh. Just for you. Oooooooh. Oooooh. Just for you." *Jonny and Jessie dancing again with Jonny singing in Jessie's ear in sync with the words.* Voices harmonizing Whispered: "This is just for you." *Jonny and Jessie continue to dance and the screen fades to black in sync with the singing.* *The Standards are an a capella group. The song here and the other two that I am sending out were written by them.
