Stirling Fair 2001!I had so much fun with my first 86 Cavalier that I went out and found another one and got it ready in a week. My friend Richard Sills bought a ready car the day before the derby. We were so excited we went out and got smashed that night and we still had a pile of work to do to both cars. In the morning we were on our way to the shop and I got pulled over for wearing my seatbelt under my arm and got a fine! Needless to say I drove like a nutcase in the derby and the car held up great! I even drove ontop of a v-6 celebrity and took him out 1st shot. Once again I took 2nd in my heat as there was no prize money. Went into a really hard hitting feature and the cavalier still held up great. There were 4 cars left including me. 2 of them were hardly moving but Dean Leclair in a Pony and me. Thats when my battery cable melted and shorted out and my battery started on fire. Once agian got 4th place and had alot of fun!
