How many times have you gone and bought some new piece of kit or the latest accessory gizmo from your local bike shop? Did you pay the earth for it and then think about hiding the receipt from the wife/boss? I know I have, I've also wished that I could have bought it second-hand from someone I knew, for less money !

Now don't get me wrong, some things shouldn't be bought second-hand, crash helmets are a good example, but most things can be bought safely. Bargains can be had for the buyer whilst the seller can have a bit of extra cash and some more space in the garage.
