A Letter From the President of the BWA

Okay, now to put things as simply as possible:

  • No, the show did not take place on the 16th.
  • Yes, the show will be rescheduled.
  • No, I am not sure when the next show will be.
  • Yes, some people did show up for the show and I appreciate that.
  • Yes, some people did not make it to the show
  • Yes, some of them did have excuses.
  • Yes, I will explain those excuses.
  • No, the people without excuses will not be reprimanded. There is no need to do that.

Now, with that taken care of, let me get on with the State of the Union.

Well, like stated above, the show did not take place on the 16th as planned. This isn't too bad of a thing. Just like with the first show, the postponement will give us more time to prepare and advertise. The show will take place, and soon! Its just getting ahold of people and finding out when a good time for them is a little difficult.

Most of the people who missed the show, missed the show because of the concert that took place the night before. This is not a problem at all. As a matter of fact, I was going to be out of town until about an hour into the tapings, which would mean that I would not be able to oversee everything that would go on and I wasn't too comfortable with the idea. Now, I will make sure that I can be in town for the second show (whenever it takes place), so once again, the postponement is not a bad thing.

As far as the situation with Sevin and his suspension, I have made a decision.

I have gotten a letter ready for someone to read in the ring at the next show. In it, are instructions for what Sevin would have to do in order to be re-instated and reclaim his Number 1 Contendership. I have not been able to contact Sevin as far as this situation goes, but I'm sure that he will get the message sooner or later.

Expect another letter sometime after the next show. The showtime and date will be annouced on the site soon.

Keep safe!

Thanks for reading & Stay tuned!
                     Signed,
                         The President of the BWA
