Tau Stratigy!

Well Tau are weak against close combat if you don't already know. I've found a great way for Space Marines to get up there and get up there safe.

This way I think is better you take off the Assault squads jet packs so they still have their close combat wepions and can still kick some butt. So the main reason I bring this up is they cost 25 pts. and is you take off the jet packs you -15 pts. so they're only 10 pts(if the person has many tanks in his Tau army equip them with melta bombs, and then you put them in a Rino(do not have the rino or razorback shoot untill after they load or have been pinned) So you probably should upgrade the armor of the rino to how ever high you like(useing VDR rules found in the Chaper Approved book)and so it can get up there and maybe soup up its engine so they can only hit you on a roll of 6 and put 2 flamers on it to tourch some guys while u get ready to unload and your troops get assembled and rip apart the Tau. I'd suggest getting 3 squads of assualt squads with no jet packs with a transport(with more armor and etc. like above) and to fufill your troop choices 2 close combat scout squads and have them with transports. Then to back you up have Devistator squads with plasma cannons and missile launchers and maybe a Whirlwind. HQ could be liberian with jet pack, iron halo and master crafted lightning claws.(why I say liberian is because he can use his psycic power smite to make some of this guys auto die or make his battle suits take their invulnerable save and make him have melta bombs if the Tau has tanks) Space wolves would rock in this role.
