computer generated design ... have enjoyed everything
i've 'tried my hand at' & look forward to conquering
new horizons! ... my newly discovered passion wherein
time stands still ... (now if i could get someone to
pay me to do this, i'd be in HEAVEN!)
ANIMAL COMPANION(S):
i am the designated 'companion human' to 5
CATS with
very distinct personalities who are the 'true' masters
of their domain & mine ... they are: =^..^= "The Old Wise One"
(primarily retired, gets pulled away from 'meditative mode'
for consultations re: household disputes between cats or humans),
=^..^= "The Calico Kid" (still learning the ropes - trying to
figure out what shadows are all about), =^..^= "The Caretaker"
(every family has one), =^..^= "The Pretty One" (who is learning -
the hard way - that 'looks aren't everything')
& =^..^= the newest member of the clan: "Baby"
(mischievious, curious, & extremely busy) ... yes, i am,
a "little old lady with CATS" - who wears purple,
dyes her hair red & doesn't much care what the rest of the world
thinks about it ... :-)
IF I HAD ONE WISH:
PEACE! in my heart, life & world ...
(what would it feel like, look like,
sound like, smell like, taste like
... ah, the mind boggles!)
DREAMS I'VE REALIZED:
earned my B.A. degree at age 40 ...
moved from the 'frozen tundra' of the Midwest
to the enchanted Redwood Empire of Northern California,
a.k.a. 'The Promised Land' - best kept secret locale
on the planet, (hush now ... don't you tell anyone.)
FUTURE OUTLOOK:
trusting - as always - that it is a friendly universe,
unfolding exactly as it should, i will continue to
follow my "inner voice" wherever it leads me ...
has not failed me yet & the element of surprise
makes the journey just that much more enjoyable

PERSONAL CHALLENGES:
as years add up, it becomes increasingly apparent
that maintaining good HEALTH is the primary foundation
of a good life ... neglect it & every other aspect
of life suffers ... once gone, no amount of money
can buy it back ... quality of life is much more
important than quantity ...
