Games have had alot controversy because of violence but I have my own point of view on the Video Game Controversy
I am very proud to review this movie. I felt that the first Mortal Kombat movie was spectacular in many ways. It had the hard hitting action. It translated the characters correctly and it was enjoyable to watch. Yes with a PG-13 rating it with-held the fatalities and blood, but it took from the game and made a movie with characters you cheered for. Christopher Lambert is Rayden and Subzero and Scorpion looked like....... Subzero and Scorpion. It was beautiful. I loved this movie that when it came out on video I watched it till my tape broke down. Even my own mother loved it that she went to see the sequal with me. This one gets a big score for it translation and enjoyment. I loved this movie.

Memory: The Scorpion fight was by far the best fight ever. When Scorpion says "Get over here" and "Welcome" to Johnny Cage it made me giddy as hell. We got Scorpions rope, Scorpions fatality, heck we even get a Johnny Cage friendship. How great is that?
What happened here? Why is this happening? Me and my own mother loved the first movie but opening day of this film and we get this? We both walked out disappointed. Yes I can see alot of similarities in the movie from the game but this was done so poorly! This was made just like Mortal Kombat 3, HORRIBLE. We did get alot of things from the game but it was alot of stuff that needed to be left out. Like the whole thing with the animals in the end. They looked so fake and it had no imagination. They should of left that out. Now what made this movie in my eyes was the ladies. Sindel, Sheeva and Jade where all hot and looked good. I also loved the Scorpion/SubZero fight but that was about it. Now this is what made me mad. In all of the games my favorite character was Baraka and the way he was potrayed in the movie was terrible. He looked so fake and not to mention he was weak. This is not the Baraka I know. Why did they even write this script? It made me cry.
