That Damn Show @ Peoria Sports Complex in AZ

That Damn Show is a radio show put on by the Edge every year here in AZ. Okay I got there kinda late beacause it's a couple hours away from my house. When I get there they were announcing the 2nd band,The Urge, and they sadi that some of the guys from Fuel were backstage. So I walked around to this one area where I was really close to the stage and I could see backstage. What do I see, Brett hanging from one of the bars of the stage. When The Urge were done I saw Brett talk to them and then he started walking towards where I was. There was like a little waist-high barrier and then chain link fences. So I said,"Hey Brett," and he waved, then I told him that I made him something. Which was this guitar pic necklace and I took it out of my pocket as he walked over and I held it up. He says "Wow that's awesome, thank you I'll put it on. What's your name?" So I told him, and he says "Thank you Jordan" and shakes my hand. I didn't want to be to much of a bother so I said I'm glad you like it and I'll see ya later at the autograph booth okay. He says,"Okay, thanks again," and walked away. Then later on when Save Ferris came on (I don't really like them) I went over to watch people skating on the vert. Then I saw a cool bracelet on the ground reached to pick it up and as I'm bent down I see Brett coming near where I was (lucky bracelet). So I walk over to the fence and say hey Brett. He saw me came over and said,"Hey again Jordan." So I asked him when they were going o be on and he pointed and said "After them." I said cool I'll see you then. So he's like,"Cool, I'll look for you." He always seemed like he was in a hurry so I didn't want to get in his way. Okay show time. It took them a long time to set up. First they played "Untitled" then "Jesus Or A Gun", "Shimmer","Bittersweet", and closed with "Ozone". During "Ozone" he moved around the stage and looked down at me, smiled, and waved. I hat radio shows. Fuel deserved to play longer. After the show I went to the autograph booth and waited in line for 2 hours. Jeff was the first one sitting at the table. I handed him the shirt I had bought and told him that they were awesome. He said "Thanks now you're going to buy our Cd right?" So I said I've had it for a long time and I love it. He says "Buy our single" (Jeff the salesman). I said don't worry Jeff, I will, I hear it has some extra stuff on it. He said "Yeah it has 2 songs that aren't on the CD and some computer stuff." I'm like "cool!" He was so nice I don't think he ever stopped smiling. Next was Carl and he wrote Fuel on my shirt and signed it. He didn't say anything though. Poor Carl must have been having a bad day. Kevin didn't say much either. Next was Brett and he saw me, gets like this huge grin and said "It's you again." I said your show was awesome, but you didn't play "Sunburn" and that's one of my favorite songs. He said "I know, we didn't have time. It's my favorite song too." He reached over the table and gave me a hug. hehe I was covered in Brett sweat! Then he said "See ya later!" Yep that was my first Fuel show and it was great!! Not many other people seemed to know about them yet here in AZ. Sorry this is so long, but thank you for reading it. Back To Reviews
