--The following is an excerpt from an anonymous reporters (AR) interview with Hat-- (1/1/01)
AR: So Hat, now that Dale Earnhardt is gone, who do you watch during the Winston Cup races?
Hat: Well, AR, i can't watch just one guy. There is a whole group of driver i cheer for with no hesitation.
AR: Who is that specifically?
Hat: Well as you can tell from the main page, Dale Junior, Waltrip, Park, Benson, Schrader, and now Harvick are the drivers i enjoy watching the most.
AR: Are there any other driver you like to see in front?
Hat: Sure, there are a group of guys i liken to "darkhorses" including; Ron Hornaday, Kevin LePage, Mike Skinner, Ricky Craven, Terry Labonte, Jerry Nadeau, Kenny Wallace, and Dave Marcis.
AR: What about drivers you don't like?
Hat: What about em?
AR: Who are they?
Hat: (laughs) That should be pretty obvious from the page too. Anyway, the only drivers that tend to irritate me are Jarrett, Gordon (Robby and Jeffy), Jimmy Spencer, Jeremy Mayfield, and any Bodine.
AR: What is your problem with these drivers Hat? You think your better than them ya little punk?
Hat: Hey, settle down, as i see it from my chair these are the drivers who tend to pass on the apron, race back to cautions when its unneccesary, block other cars on pit road and use "unapproved" parts on their cars.
