Meet The Squadron Commander

At a very early age probably about 4 or 5 I was fascinated by the airplanes I saw flying in the sky. The kind I saw was the old biplanes with open cockpit like this Tiger moth

At the age of 13 I started my first flying lesson in a Piper cherokee PA-140. What a thrill ! I then started flying the Messerschmit BOLKOW junoir and did all my advanced training in that. Aerobatics and my first solo flight was in this aircraft.

At age 14 I was lucky enough to get some 250hours of flying time in a Piper Apache PA-23-160

At age 20 I joined the US ARMY and went into Airtraffic control, This was a great experience for me and I loved it. I hold a FAA CTO control tower operators certificate, and I am a certified aviation weather observer.

Unfortunatly Flying is very expensive and I no longer can afford to fly (sad) so I get my jollies flying this flight simulator. This simulator is extremely close to the real thing and I highly recommend it to all. It will teach you how to fly, land, and after a few toastings you will also learn how to fight in one

If you would like to see some photographs of my personal Photgraph collection, you can click here. There is a variety of WW2 fighters, Bombers, and Specialty planes.
