Hello Everyone!!!!! I am Sophia Lawson a student at the University of Houston (that’s me to the left). I am currently a junior and expect to graduate December of 2006.

I am taking ITEC 1301 with Mrs. Fofanova on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 2:30 to 4pm. My major is Consumer Science and Merchandising. I love my major because if provides me with the opportunity to work in the retail field as a buyer. My goal is to become a prominent buyer in New York City or California.

I was born in Houston, Texas on October 24, 1983. I am very anxious to get out of the south to see and experience new things.

I work at the Center for Public Policy; I have been since October of 2003. My boss Chris is the perfect boss, that mainly the reason why I have been there for so long. At the Center I basically call Texas residents and try to get them to complete surveys with me for a commission. I have to mention that the pay is excellent, well….for a student at least.

I like all types of music such as Salsa, Hip Hop, Reggae, Soca, R&B, Alternative, House, ect. I also like reading also, mostly war novels and sometimes horror. I love to go to the movies and just hang out with friends and family.
