Why are you offering your services at such a low price?

This web site is a new business.  These low prices won't last long.

How long will it take before I receive your evaluation?

It varies.  Right now turnaround time is fast, between one and two weeks.

Why should I pay to have a synopsis edited and evaluated?

Most authors consider writing a synopsis a tedious chore.  As a result, many a synopsis is written in haste and ends up sloppily done.  Big mistake.  In the publishing world it's rare that the decision to buy a manuscript is based on one editor's opinion.  More than likely, a panel of editors will make the final decision.  Usually these editors are swamped; so they rely heavily on a synopsis rather than having to read the entire manuscript.  So be warned:  your book may not make that final cut unless your synopsis is absolutely stellar.

Why should I pay to have my query letter edited and evaluated?

Your query letter speaks volumes to an editor or agent about what kind of writer you are.  If it is not perfect in every respect, you are likely headed for rejection.

What if I disagree  with your evaluation or your editing?

I am more than happy to discuss any concerns/questions you might have.  Contact me by e-mail any time.  Also, I've been known to make a phone call or two.

Are you doing cookie cutter assessments?

Never.  I read each manuscript thoroughly and slant my comments accordingly.

How do I know you won't steal my plot?

Every word you write is copyrighted the moment you put it on paper, so I'm not about to mess with your copyrighted material.  Also, and perhaps more significant:  As a writer I have enough plot ideas of my own to last me for at least the next hundred years.  I'll never get to them all; so I'm certainly not  looking elsewhere.
