The art room is a-buzzin' with the sounds of the seasons.
No, it isn't holiday music we hear, it is an Art IV student firing
up the blender to make handmade paper. Students in Art IV are
working in a variety of mediums, all different and unique.
Some students are painting in acrylic, others in oil, and yet other
students are working with clay creating snow globes and challenging
themselves in graphite. Check out some of the work they have
created thus far this year. Art IV Gallery 1
Art I students have studied surrealism
and one of the most famous surrealist artists Salvador Dali.
Check out some of the student's examples of surrealism done in
graphite. Art I Surrealism Gallery
Students taking Art II have also worked in
surrealism to create self-portraits. Students worked
from a photograph of themselves, broke the photograph down
into two values and then created a composition using themselves and
things that represent them. Art II Self Portrait Galllery
