Cut Imagine: You are fourteen and come home from school to find your drunken mother dangling off the side of the couch; you have to pick her up. This is an issue a depressed teen would experience; this is also a reason for them to cut. Cutting is when a person cuts their body for relief of pain. Many students shun their peers when they find this out, which is not fair. People who do this are close-minded and in ways hypocritical. What do you think? Maybe, I’m wrong. At the moment, I’m wondering if any of the youth (18-24) campaigns have had any effect. MTV’s Rock the Vote, in my opinion, should have a wide effect on how many young adults vote in this year’s election. I am pleased that organizations took the time to arrange programs that would  encourage this particular		generation to vote.
