Started in 1997 by director, David Shultz, Eclipse has seen over 100 participants throughout its seven year existence as an independent unit and currently has 50 members within its four winter units.

As a member of Winter Guard International (WGI) in the Three Rivers Winter Ensemble Association (TRWEA) circuit Eclipse has won several awards and participated in numerous shows and competitions.

During the summer performance season Eclipse has an active Drum and Baton Corps featuring a full drumline as well as colorguard silk, rifle, and majorette lines. Eclipse Drum and Baton Corps participates in parades all over the Northern and Southwestern counties of Pennsylvania.

Eclipse also performs with the Steel City Ambassadors Drum & Bugle Corps of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, participating in parades and DCA shows both in and out of the state.
