Hi, Im a hardworking young mother of two. One biological daughter and one neice that I have been given custody of due to her mother being on drugs. I never thought I would be asking for financial help, however recently my husband decided that he would move out and leave me to take care of the kids , mortgage and other obligtions on my own. Unfortunately this all came at a time when I was out of work and not bringing in any income to support me and my family. I know you are wondering how did it get to this point. We'll I will tell you. As a devoted Christian wife, I loved my husband and refused to admit to myself that the frequent belittling in front of my kids and other family members, threats, breaking of objects in our home, punching of holes in the wall, pushing and shoving of me and other incidents were forms of abuse. My husband, who knew I loved him and was willing to do anything to keep our marriage, used my belief in God and what the word of God says about divorce to brainwash me into believing that I deserved this and God allowed this type of behavior from him. When I started standing up for myself, he left.In addition, recently we purchased a home in which I and the kids currently are living. In order to force me to accept him back and endure the abuse on his terms, (Yes, I have asked him to go to counseling, but he refuses)he has refused to help me with support of our daughter or any of our joint financial obligations. As a result, all the bills are pass due and my home is facing forclosure. He has admitted that he would rather see me out in the streets than help me, this is so I would be forced to come crawling back to him. I recently began working again, however my bills are so far behind that I need help in catching them up. I have applied for support, but he has refused to pay. Ultimately maybe he will, but I am trying to prevent forclosure before it is too late. Please help me and my kids with any advice you can offer. We are also asking for any type of monetary donation you can offer us. Nothing is too small for our need. I know the Lord will bless you, he always blesses a cheerful giver. I know, I have been blessed so many times for giving to others in their times of need. I am not someone just looking for a handout, but instead a help-up out of my present situation.
