Pros-
-better games
-same controller as the ps1, so people used to ps1 are used to ps2
-free online use as long as you have internet access and a adapter
-small system
-small controller
-stand vertical (takes up less space)
- GTA, final fantasy, tomb raider, getaway, socom navy, oni, devil may cry,
Tekken, gran turismo, ddr max, midnight club 1, time crisis , etc.
-can play burned media
- Camera lets you see opponent on online games
Cons-
- no hardrive.....but with usb cord you can put your sved games on a computer
- not many online games.
- 8 ft controller cord
- no trigger buttons on controllers

- halo
- hardrive
- many online games
- trigger buttons
- all buttons are located in the front
- Halo, mech assault, jsrf, some star wars games, project g racing
- crisp graphics
- free games with system purchase
Cons-
-big system
-bigger controllers
-must subscribe to microsoft for xbox live use
-new system = lack of big name games
-cannot play burned media
-have to pay for dvd playback
-10 ft cords (better than 8 ft but still could be longer, or try wireless)

- xbox was released at a bad time and did not do as well as the ps2 release date....
at the same time as dreamcast was released thus making it no compition, xbox should
have released in the same 14 day period as game cube causing a worse
problem for nintendo as you may not notice or choose not to gamecube has
sold less than xbox but because it was released before xbox (about 4 months)
it totals right now at close to 9 millon units sold as xbox has 12 million. if xbox was released
4 months earlier xbox would have 19 million sold and gamecube 2.
