Zelda Ocarina of Time Modernized

Race Info: Race A) Workers
Race B) Scientist

Gameplay Info: Tech. Tree

CHAPER I - After the war during Ancient Earth, not much later they changed the name to Old Earth. When the Light Colony left for Ancient Earth in the past, a different colony consisting of two races that never made it to Ancient Earth were sent off to another planet in means of colonization (one race is workers, the other is scientist). The ships got off course traveling for many years (the reason they weren’t aware of this was due to the sleep chambers that wake them upon landing). After those many years they landed on what is now Old Earth, although, they have absolutely nothing for survival. They were originally equipped with things to survive on this other planet, but it’s all useless considering it was meant for a different environment. It’s now up to the workers, scientist, etc to research, explore and learn the way of this other world in hopes of creating a stable and livable town. (Note* - Since they are naturally the light races, that will explain why you end up trying to save the world.)

Explanation of Tech. Tree – Once you've landed, your people are suffering. They can't really produce too much at the hometown. However, if they research the land around them, get a handle on their new environment, they can make discoveries that will advance their society.

Example:

You first land there. In the beginning, there will be hardly anything for sale in the main store, because everyone's too busy trying to gather enough food to survive to spend time building weapons, making items, etc. In that group of colonists are 3 scientists or so. You’ll be given a list of things to have them study, such as "Native Wildlife," "Native Plant life," "Native Geography," etc. Once you set them to work doing their studies, time passes and they make progress. There will be a little bar for each research topic that slowly fills up. Once the bar fills, they've discovered something. One guy finishes researching Native Plant life. He’s run all sorts of experiments on the plants in the local area, and now he's got a full report of the fruits and vegetables that are edible. Now, because people can start farming these foods, more of the colonists can be put to work in Industrial things rather than just farming. Also, in the report, it's discovered that some of the plants are... strange. New research topics open up, like "Red Leafed Bush" and "Black Fungus." Now that the scientists doing research on the Native Plant life are freed up, you can set them to work on the new research topics. Eventually they'll finish work on those, and you'll get new items to buy, or something like that.

Since the scientists can't leave the village your character can bring back enemy remains and add them to the list of researchable. Once the research is done, they'll get their name added to an entry book with sweet concept art, information on weaknesses, a description, and other great stuff like that. We can even do something cool with boss remains being researched, like history info or cool little movie scenes. We can also add when researching certain sets of enemies unlocks new research topics for INSANELY powerful gear. Getting all the poisonous enemies in the game might unlock a Pestilence spell, or status inflicting, etc.

Race and Area Tidbits - Not much is known about the area other than it’s in a Forest and contains a lot of plant life and animal life.

Myras (WORKERS): Very muscular body with light orange/brown skin. Sort of a military fatigues outfit. Clawed hands, though not too intimidating, a short tail, face should be humanist, but with downward sloping pointed ears and fangs (not huge, but noticeable). They also feature a magic spell that gives them the ability to flip flop there physical and mental capabilities. One form is very small and fragile, looking younger although has much more devastating magic potential and is far more intelligent then the other form. The other form is the Very muscular body, although they have little to no magic abilities.

Ryas (SCIENTIST): The scientist in a way are another breed of Myras meaning they are related genetically. The difference between the two beeing the scientist don't have magic capabilities (they can't change physical state) and there intelligence is superior to that of the Myras. In the past it was often wondered why they were more intelligent and lacked morping magic. After much research was performed birth defect was the only drawn conclusion. While they may be considered abnormal, many of their greatest people in the civilization of the two were Ryas. The biggest noticable physical differences are the lack of a tail and height. Their size rest inbetween the Brawn and Brain form of the Myas.
