One-Armed Judo Master
There was a one-armed judo student once. He had lost his left arm in an accident when he was younger. Determined not to let his handicap get the best of him, he decided to take up judo lessons. However, his master only taught him one move. The boy was concerened but decided to have trust in his master's teaching.

A competition was coming soon, one in which the boy would participate. As the day drew nearer and nearer, the boy grew more anxious. He had learned only one move so far. The tournament came and the master wished his student good luck. It turned out, the boy won every match at the tournament with no trouble at all. When the boy asked how he had won so easily despite his handicap, the master replied, "First, the move I taught you is the most difficult one of all. Second, the only counter known for it is to grab the left arm."

Faith
A small town was experiencing a severe drought one summer. The town minister decided it was time to do something. So one day, he announced that everyone was to come to the church that evening with an item of faith to pray for rain.

Evening came, and the townspeople filed into the church. The minister stood at the door welcoming the people inside and as each one of them passed by, he asked what their item of faith was. Some brought crucifixes and others brought Bibles. However there was one small boy who brought something quite different: he brought an umbrella.
