Sword of the Silvermoon

For hundreds and thousands of years Elven Clerics have devoted themselves to the worship and emulation of Corellon Larethian, mimicking his philosophies, his lifestyle, and his manner of fighting. It is his manner of fighting that has sparked many different styles of thought among his children. Namely, should they specialize in the bow, a weapon favored by their people for centuries, or the longsword, the favored weapon of Corellon himself. It is the latter elves which occassionally choose to become Swords of the Silvermoon.

Fighters and Clerics of Corellon commonly find the path of a Sword of the Silvermoon to be a good one, however there are also a number of Rangers, Paladins, and Barbarians that place themselves among Corellon's self-styled elite. Wizards, Sorcerers, and Rogues find the devotion to such a martial weapon does not mix well with their chosen paths, and Monks find themselves to be too devoted to honing their body as a weapon to concentrate on the longsword.

Silvermoon Fighting Style
While wearing light armor the Sword of the Silvermoon may add his Wisdom bonus, if any, to his Armor Class. If the Sword is caught flatfooted or otherwise denied his dexterity bonus he also loses this bonus. Also, if you have the feat Weapon Finesse it may now apply to longswords as well, as long as you are wearing only light armor and are wielding your longsword. Neither part of this ability functions if the Sword is also wielding a shield, he must either be fighting with two longswords or be wielding a single longsword in both hands in order to properly make use of the Silvermoon Fighting Style.

Successive Strike
You can get one extra attack per round with your Longsword. The attack is at your highest bonus, but each attack you make in that round (the extra one and the noraml ones) takes a -2 penalty. You must use the full attack action to use this ability, and must meet the prerequisites for fighting in the Silvermoon Fighting Style.

Imbue Sword
At 2nd level the Sword learns to become one with his sword. Due to the magical nature of the Elven race, this union of elf and sword causes the Sword to be imbued with energy, giving it the enhancement bonus listed.

Superior Weapon Focus
Stacking with any existing Weapon Focus bonus, this adds an additional +1 to all attack rolls made with by the character with his longsword.

Deflect Arrows
Once per round, when fighting in the Silvermoon Fighting Style and you normally would be hit by a ranged weapon, you may attempt to deflect it so you take no damage from it. You must be aware of the attack (not flatfooted) Unusually large missile weapons may not be deflected, however magical missle weapons (Melf's Acid Arrow, etc.) may be deflected the same as regular missile weapons. Using this feat is not an action, and when you do you make a Reflex save DC 20 + any magical bonus the weapon might have, or if it's a spell the DC is 20 + the spell's level.

Blindfighting
You gain the Blindfight feat for free at 3rd level.

Elaborate Parry
Upon reaching 5th level if the Sword chooses to fight defensively with Expertise he now gains +2 AC for every -1 to hit he takes with Combat Expertise, up to a maxiumum of -5 to hit and +10 to AC.

Locate Object
Once per day the character may ask of his sword to Locate Object as the spell cast by a sorcerer of 10th level.

Superior Weapon Specialization
Stacking ontop of any existing weapon specialization bonus, this adds +2 to all damage rolls made with his longsowrd.

Blindsight
You gain the supernatural ability to sense even the most slightest sounds while wielding your sword. You gain Blindsight at a 10ft radius.

Improved Disarm
At 7th level you get the feat Improved Disarm for free.

Lightning Strike
At 8th level the Sword can take two extra attacks per round with a longsword. This ability supersedes Successive Strike (the abilities do not stack). The attack is at the Sword's highest base attack bonus, but each attack (the extras and the normal ones) suffers a -4 penalty. The Sword must use the full attack action to use this ability, and must meet the prerequisites for fighting in the Silvermoon Fighting Style.

Superior Imrpoved Critical
Stacking with any existing Improved Critical, this doubles the threat range of the wapon. For example, if the previous threat range was 19-20/x2 and the Sword had Improved Critical and Superior Improved Critical then the threat rang would be increased to 17-20/x2 by the Improved Critical and then to 15-20/x2 by Superior Improved Critical.

Locate Person
Once per day the character may ask of his sword to Locate Person as the spell cast by a sorcerer of 15th level.
