Player: Ish Pelias Quicken fit grew up an orphan, fighting for survival on the streets of Neblin. Being exceptionally strong for a halfling, he easily gained control of a ragamuffin street gang in his adolesence. But, after some time, his band rapidly broke up after two of Pelias' most able chums, Miles and Lyle, left to seek the adventuring life. Without a crew to boss around, Pelias felt his life empty and meaningless. He had turned to a temple of Ilmater for food one day, where he met an elf by the name of Vash. Vash intrigued Pelias with tales of adventure beyond the scope of the city. Vash was equally intrigued to find some one as lonely as himself, and they set out together the next day. Over their travels, Vash taught Pelias in the use of strong weaponry, as well as instilling a strong sense of duty and loyalty into the young halfling. He taught him of the hazy line between good and evil, and that the only one you can truly trust is yourself. |

After a year of countryside adventure, wandering from place to place, the two found themselves back in Neblin. There stay was made unwelcome when old foes of Vash managed to track him down. Pelias didn't know who they were, but trusted an enemy of Vash as an enemy of himself. They were ambushed in an alley, where Vash was struck by a powerful spell cast by a shrouded figure. With Vash nearly dead, Pelias dragged his mentor into a nearby building. As the intruders worked through the flimsy lock on the door, Vash made his parting words. In dying, he gifted Pelias with his mythril shirt and well crafted blade, urging the halfling to flee the city. The door broke in as Pelias slipped out of a window, stopping only to watch his companion felled with the blow of a staff.
Pelias sought the aid of the Night Knives in his flight. He had run in with them a few times in his youth, but never was quite desperate enough to lower himself to joining. This proved to be a good choice for him when he heard of the massive sewer explosion. Desperate to fill in their ranks, they agreed to take him along to Xanthulte.
Pelias' strict sense of duty compells him to serve the guild loyally, but he hopes to earn his leave one day and seek vengeance upon Vash's murderers.
