Jacsen Thannick (a.k.a. Oslor "The Magnificent", a.k.a. Kelem Therxban, a.k.a. Nyril Ranord, a.k.a. Beldorm "The Mask" Draem, etc…)
Born Jacsen Thannick, the son of Cev Thannick, a magician of some renown in the city of Coranthor. He learned the skills of "magic" through slight of hand from his father before he was felled by a patron of the White Stag Tavern (This is open for editing) who was not amused by Cev's "witchery". This left Jacsen to fend for himself. Using only the parlor tricks his father had left him and his own wits, Jacsen set about the city using his skills to scam and swindle any he could. One day he tried to scam a gnome by the name of Osov who caught onto his game and turned the scam around on Jacsen, with the use of magic. Realizing Jacsen had potential, Osov agreed to train him in the art of illusion and deception, taking Jacsen's game to a whole new level. After a few tests of his skills, including pretending to be a High Priest in the church of Pelor to get access to some confiscated scrolls, and pretending to a Nobleman's daughter for purposes of just screwing around with him, Osov introduced him to the Strider's of Fharlangan as Beldorm "The Mask" Draem. Only the higher ups know him as that. The rest go by his standard alias of Oslor "The Magnificent". Now he travels for the Striders, using his skills for them.
