The Pearl

I think the pearl is a good book overall. In some parts it gets a little boring and hard to follow. It tells you a lot about the people in the southwest part of the country in the 1900's. John Steinbeck is a very good and descriped writer. His books show many sides of the southwest culture. It also shows how people turn different when they get money, and become very greedy.
