Countries Where Spanish Is Spoken

    Spanish is the official language of some 22 countries, the 22nd now being Equatorial Guinea. The other countries include Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico (U.S. territory), and Cuba. It is also widely spoken in the United States, particularly in the Southwest, New York, and Florida.
