This is the part of the site devoted to Brak himself. Brak is a misunderstood, space alien who has had quite an amazing career as a cartoon character.
This is Brak on his first television series known as
The show Space Ghost was a Hanna Barbera cartoon. The original series ran from 1966-1968, and was rerun in 1976 as part of "The Space Ghost/Frankenstein Jr. Show". In this cartoon drama Brak was an evil alien set on the destruction of space ghost. Brak was a main villain on the show, along with Zorak (a Large alien mantis), and Moltar (an alien who always wears a full body metal suit).
Brak later moved on the popular space ghost talk show called
Space Ghost Coast to Coast was a talk show owned by Ghost Planet Industries. Space Ghost himself hosted the talk show. Former arch nemesis of Brak. On the new show it became quite apparent that Brak had changed. He was no longer the bloodthirsty villain he once was. He now befriended Space Ghost and would very often sing humorous songs. The new show also stared Moltar and Zorak who were apparently being held captive.
The change in Brak was unexplained for the most part. Rumors of mind control spread rampantly, but died out in 1983 after Space Ghost passed a polygraph test.
There was also another unexplained change when Brak started the new show. Apparently he had lost his legs, which he clearly had in his earlier career. During Brak's time at Space Ghost Coast to Coast Brak always sat behind a desk because of his new inability to walk.
Brak is currently working on his own sitcom called "The Brak Show"
The Brak show is a good-hearted family cartoon starring, the man, Brak. Brak plays a friendly character maintaining the same persona as in Space Ghost Coast to Coast. In this show Brak has a mom and dad who apparently birthed him. This of course totally conflicted with the plot of the original Space Ghost series. Brak’s mom appears to be the same race of alien as Brak, and his father is a short Hispanic human.
Brak's parents occasionally get into arguments but stay together for the sake of their son.
In this show Brak is in some sort of a friendly relationship with Zorak. Although Zorak tends to abuse him quite often.
Brak has had an amazing career, and to this day continues making episodes for The Brak Show. It is rumored that he will renew his contract for the show and continue for another season.
