VERMILION was a UK 70s biker rock punk gal,....The EP was released in 1978 on Illegal Records (ILM 0010), original UK pressing. A side: "Angry Young Woman" and "Nymphomania" are both fast punk tracks.........especially 'Nymphomania' is the standout......... real biker rock, and raunchy! the b side is 'Wild Boys' ( ride their bikes ) it's said to be really cool; raw heavy sound similiar to the STOOGES....

NIGHTMARE is said to be a GREAT one too - HORROR GLAM PUNK rock - 'Great Balls Of Fire' 45 was released in 1979 on GIP (4088), original Dutch pressing. GREAT CRAZY HORRORIC vocal - WEIRD mechanic rhythm, PRIMITIVE arrangment - TOTALLY INSANE!!!!
'Witch Woman" is more HORROR VOODOO GLAM ROCK with WEIRD early 70s ALICE COOPER like vocal - HEAVY GLAM ROCK guitars, solo guitar sound + HORROR EFFECTS!!!! VERY PRIMITIVE - so it has PROTO-PUNK licks.....

this single by the DOCTORS OF MADNESS was called 'BULLETIN', and was released under the name 'the DOCTORS' so as to be more in time with the names of punk bands, this band pre dated most early punk bands by a long stretch, and let it be known that MRS STEPHANIE de SYKES sang background vocals for their 2nd lp, see our homepage and page 6 for reviews and more info
