Early years Friedrich Nietzsche was born on October 15, 1844 in province of Saxony in Prussia
He showed early talents in music and was admitted to Schulpforta in 1858.
Here he was introduced to literature of Ancient Greeks and Romans
Began to drift from his family's believes
After graduating, he lost his faith and discontinued his theological studies
Nietzsche began to study philology under professor Friedrich Wilhelm Ritschl at the University of Leipzig
The Adult Years Signed up for one year of service in the Prussian artillery division.
A bad accident left from trying to saddle a horse seriously injured his chest him unfit for service, and turned back to his studies
Meets Richard Wagner, who Neitzsche admired for musical genius and personality. Wagner was about the age of Nietzsche's father.
With a strong recommendation from Ritschl, Nietzsche became a professor at the University of Basel with no doctorate degree or teaching certificate
Served in Franco Prussion War as a hospital attendent from 1868 to 1870 where he contracted diseases
