Question to my Guardians: "In relation to the heart, what are the pros and cons of cardio in comparison to Chinese circulatory exercises?"
They replied: "cardio hurts heart more. chinese circ/ exercise far better. Longevity will develop. better circulation. better elevated mood. stronger mental lucidity. it makes the lower chambers of the heart stronger."
My conclusions: If you can find an adept instructor (use your discretion) or an intelligently written book, employ soft Chi Kung circulation exercises [that don't elevate the heart rate] instead of Cardio. You can save yourself some time and effort by referring to my Chi Kung section as I expand upon it.
