| The Trekhyair Quarantine Cutter
was designed and built in Aslan shipyards as a response to the
Barekdoldin Darrian Patrol Cruiser. The cutter concept was to place a weapons platform in systems that could hunt and kill quarantine violators. This Aslan design was not popular with human crews because of the tech level and high armament making it slightly more dangerous than similar vessels but more likely to have a critical hit with internal hits (+2). The anti-aslan crowd was not excited about powerful weapons being manufactured by "disloyal" Aslans. Despite the negatives this class has a positive effect on the quarantine. It is common for this ship to work in pairs. |

| The cutter was designed as tight
quarters with all crew members sharing cabins. An
additional stateroom is available for passengers (often marines). There is a 9 nuclear missile, fix-tubed, battery on the upper hull, 2 PA's on either side and a laser turret. It also has a .8dt storage locker. The ship also carried ECM and decoy missiles. On a side note, the Aslan have been advocating the redesignation of small vessels from cruisers to cutters. |
