Considered soft duty by some, the Ag ships transport entire eco systems, as needed, throughout the Imperium.
The ship is designed to manage up to 8 200dt shielded, see-through, dome-hemisphere environments.
This ship is easy and heavily automated. It and can be ran with a minimum crew of 1, if necessary. Assuming no jump, limited manueverability and plenty of time.

Various versions of these Ag ships began at TL9 and continued through several generations of improvement.

Ecodomes are able to change their internal conditions to meet the environments necessary by the inhabitants.
They also protect them from the difficulties of space travel.  Each Dome has rudimentary mobility and long-term life support. The intent is that Gravitics would be used to lower the dome to a planetary surface.

The EcoDome has general manueverability and optional room for 4 persons. It is not a starship in the strictest sense but can be carried. The room for 4 persons assumes it is not docked to a mothership.  Cargo management can be automated.  The dome can operate for decades if very little manuever and resources are used.
