| The T20 design Vigilante Class
StarMerc is based on the Admiral Bertil class modified Type M Armed
Liner by Charles E Gannon. Many production sites, after the Rebellion started, converted the standard 600t liner to an armed liner. Essentially, a mercenary ship or armed transport. The armed transport was the Bertil Armed Transport with a combat lander and 78 troops. |

| Bertil Armed Transport has
several features: 1. One Bridge gunner can control all of the energy and PA turrets, the other can choose to control missiles or sandcasters. Although, computer control is often used for the sandcaster. Each turret has an individual operations station. The former bridge dome has houses the communications, sensor arrays. The side missile turrets have been replaced with PAs, and the aft missile turret replaced with a Triple Pulse Laser Turret. 2. The disk has seperate life support and functions. It can ask as a defense point should the remainder of the ship be damaged or highjacked. 3. It carries 8.45dt of fuel for its subcraft. |
