The Ghalalk Armoured Cruiser was the workhorse of the 3rd Imperium  ( Ship first appeared in Supplement 9:
 Fighting Ships of the Imperium).   Later, this popular design was expanded with similar style designs when the
 Imperium came out with the 30kt SEH Light Cruiser and the 75kt Planet Hvy Cruiser. The
Commonwealth continued by upgrading it during refit to the Vicious class Armoured Cruiser.
The Commonwealth refitted the ships with improved armour,  and 2 TL16 power stations. This resulted in 50%
 jump fuel usage.  Space for 60 passengers has been added.  It carried a reinforced regiment of 400 marines
 for planetary assaults.  It carries Combat Landers or 50t Cutters and 1 landing bay can carry vessel tonnage
 up to 2000t. It also has additional cargo. It holds 500t of fuel for subcraft.
