The Leviathan is a favored
merchant among crews. Officers are single bunked in double staterooms.
The ships are designed for long haul travel but must refuel frequently.
Many captains have been known to change this and convert some "lower level" officer staterooms (6) into fuel or special storage (24dt) and eliminate the pinnace (52dt) or a lifeboat (26dt). Either way its a comfortable merchant ship and safe with backup drives. The ship carries 50t tons of extra fuel for subcraft. It carries 300 days (10mo.) of consumables and the captain has a .66t safe in his office. |

The TL16 version was first layed
down in 1190, designed by Bilstein Yards of Glisten, versions of the
Leviathan have been in production for hundreds of years. The vessel can land on type0 and 1 atmosphere worlds. After the collapse as TL improved a modern version was requested by several organizations. The Commonwealth also has a commercial version available for citizens. Its capable of converting staterooms, subcraft and other areas to cargo to accomodate larger runs. It can also convert cargo into staterooms for liner duty. This vessel is BV and BTs attempt at a multi-mission merchant vessel. |
