Intended as a Vanguard Cruiser
it was converted into Colonial (Battle) Cruiser status during the 5th
Frontier War and then again during the Rebellion. Several ships from the General Products line had severe failures from their computer systems AI's resulting in crew death, giving the ship a bad name sake. The Kinunir class left production briefly. Later they were positively noticed after being upgraded by Mercenary teams. It was then produced in greater numbers for Mercenary, Scout and Subsector Navy service.
