Norman Rockwell is a famous American artist. He was born on Feb. 2, 1894 and died on Nov.3, 1978. Norman Rockwell's style of painting is realism, which means when he sees a picture that he thinks will convey a message or tell a story, he paints it. Norman Rockwell, for the most part, thought of himself more as an illustrator than an artist. He did 305 covers for the Saturday Evening Post and a plethora of other pictures and paintings.
