Personal history
All the links that you will visit from my webpage, were from all the workshops I have participated in the past. I hope that you will enjoy them.
I draw my inspiration from life, i am inspired by the ever changing dynamism of form. I work in series im inspired by the African woman her beauty,strength, and ability to remain the same in respect to her character even when life around her changes. I work mainly with oil on canvas and mono print.
In my work i aspire to capture the essence of the moment by calling attention to colors as opposed to details. When im working on a mono print the colors dominate the forms to the extent that no particular object can be identified as all shapes within are amorphous and abstract. In my nude series the two things that interest me the most are:The human action, gesture and movement, in the particular circumstances of our lives.
I am interested most in the human figure because it permits me to express my awe towards life. I never insist on details of anatomical exactitude.
