Energy Pulse Cannon
Energy Pulse cannon are one of the Xellnen's first technologies, and one of the simplist. The Energy Pulse Cannon simply takes energy, forms it into a pulse, usually in a bolt shape, and fires it out the barrel. Energy Pulse cannon Dmg depends on the type of reactor IE an Antimatter Pulse cannon is more powerful than Nuclear Pulse Cannon.
Energy Beam Cannon
An Energy Beam Cannon is very similar to an Energy Pulse Cannon, execept that it requires more energy and fires the shot in a beam.
LASERs
Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission Radiation. A LASER is merely a coherent beam of light. Also another basic and simple technology, LASER's power and intensity also depend on the Type used and the reactor powering them.
Major types: X-Ray Laser, Singularity Laser
Ion Cannon
the Ion cannon is a linear accenerator which fires a beam of pure hydrongen or Hydroxide Ions. Hydrogen Ions will burn through any metal as they are what give acids thier power. Hydroxide Ions will turn the fat in ur body into soap, thus, a Hydroxide Ion projector is the ultimate Chemical weapon. Ion cannons are EXTREMELY effective against the hulls of enemy vessels, HOWEVER Ion Cannons have problems DMGing shields.
Hybred Ion Cannon
The Hybred Ion cannon is a Hydrogen Ion cannon mixed with a Energy Beam Cannon, allowing the EBC to damage shielding, and the Ion cannon to eat away the hull. HIC's are only mounted on Rapier class assualt frigates.
Gauss Cannons
Gauss cannons are a very adv. linear accelerator that can get particles almost to the speed of light, and when equipped with Warp Muzzels, can whip them so fast that they dialate space time and travel faster than the speed of light to an observer (anything other than the projectile).
Ion attraction Targets
IAT's are little targets that can be deployed by torpedoes and corvettes, or by spies, that create a massive charge (positive or Negative) that can dirupt enemy ships systems and that can attract charge projectiles from gauss cannons, allowing Gauss cannons much higher hit ratios at MASSIVE ranges.
Implosion Cannons
Implosion Cannons are EPC's that have small psuedosingularities intermixed in the stream that cause a small part of enemy hulls to "impode" then explode in a massive release of energy, multiplying the EPC;s dmg.
Implosion Beam Cannons
ICM's are merely IC's mixed with an EBC, creating more dmg and the ability to strafe for Implosive weapons.IMC's also have the ablilty to link fire with one another inorder to create a more powerful beam.
Energy Beam Implosion Sphere
These Massive spheres (1 mile in diameter) are where the IEBC's originated. They are mounted on Dirun class Stations and Citedel class City Ships. They are capable of generating any Energy Pulse/Energy Beam and implosion weapon known, including point defense. Adv. AI targeting cores are capable of generating multiple beams on several different targets. EBIS's are also capable of linking fire with one another to generate a more powerful blast, however 1 EBIS is capable of destroying a planet.
Note: ALL Antimatter weapon technology is still under research.
Photon Cannon
A Photon Cannon takes the massive discharge of photons from a matter/antimatter annihaltion reaction and concentrates them into a pulse, which then is fired at the enemy target, doing IMMENSE damage by causeing thermal damage, and by irradiating the immpact site, breaking down atoms and releasing TOXIC radiation. A Beam version is also under research, however, it is not very successful as of right now.
Anti-Deuterium Cannon
The Anti-Deuterium cannon fires a concentrated beam of anti-deuterium atoms, either in a pulse, or in a beam. The hit causes Dmg be A: Annihalating any matter it contacts. B: releasing massive amounts of photons that do thermal, cuncusive, and radiation DMG, and by Releasing MASSIVE amounts of Toxic radiation. The anti-deuterium cannon has large potential, bt requires better containment and powwer facilitie's than the photon cannon.
Missiles
Missiles are small, self propelled Warheads with guidence systems. Missiles are generally small. The standard missile, sometimes called old reliable, is the AIM-166 Phatom. Then come the three large missiles, often called "torpedos" by the fighter jocks: Javalin (SM), Lance(MD), & Peregrine (LG).
Torpedoes
Torpedoes are the capitol ship class missiles. Torps have intersteller range and a highly complex warhead that contains a particle accenerator that increases the mass on the TORP, allowing for high impact DMG. Xellnen Torps come in 2 types: Class 75(norm), and class 244(lg).
