An angels wings are their pride and joy, they take great pains in keeping them well taken care of. The wings of an angel come in a wide spectrum of colors, though most notable and common are White. Angels are able to take to the skies at will for extended amounts of time, and most make their homes in the higher places of the city. preferring the endless and always changing skylines to the earth below them.

Please see the onocentaur, bucentaur and leontocentaur. In India, there exist centaur combinations of a snake body and fish tail with human thorax, human arms, and a horse's or bull's legs. The centaur is a potentially uncontrollable creature, often associated with drunkenness, lust, licentiousness and physical, especially sexual, violence. The centaur apparently originated in Babylonia during the second millennium BC, probably coming with the Kassites, a barbaric people that moved into the Fertile Crescent around 1750 BC, probably from Iran or farther east. The Kassites document a double-faced (a man's face facing forward, a dragon's facing backward) and double-tailed (a horse's and a scorpion's tails), winged centaur. During the times of the Greek Empire, the centaur inhabited the region of Tessaly. They were human bodied with horse backs, and were a wild and lawless group who were almost completely wiped out by Hercules. Only the more friendly and intelligent individuals were spared. Among these were Cheiron and Pholos. The centaur Cheiron, son of Cronus, and to a lesser degree Pholos, who were perceived as wise, benevolent to mankind and universally loved. They are the product when Conversion to vampire does not complete for some reason, being the vampire doesn't wish to fully convert them or their body rejects the turning for some reason. They cannot be classified as vampires because they do not have any of their weaknesses. They cannot be classified as mortals because they live about 400 years. Dhampyr do not need to feed on blood to retain their life. Nor does the sunlight bother them, but still, as normal vampires, most prefer darkness over light.

Dryad: Exquisitely beautiful, the sprited found deep in secluded woodlands. They sometimes aid adventurers and can prove a source of useful information. These creatures remain a mystery even to other woodland beings. Tales tell of dryads who took a fancy to handsome elf or human men, charmed them, and held them captive. A dryads' delicate features are much like an elf maiden with eyes always a striking color such as amber, violet, or emerald green. Complexion and hair color change with the seasons. Althought they re generally solitary, up to seven dryads have been encountered in one place or rare occasions.

Dwarves: Dwarves are a noble race of demihumans who live under the Earth, forging great cities and waging wars against the forces of chaos and evil. They also have much in common with the rocks and gems they work with, for they are both hard and unyielding. Standing from 31/2-4 ft. weighing 100 lbs to 130 lbs. dwarves tend to be stocky and muscular. Their skin is usually deep tan or light brown. Their hair and eyes are usually black, grey, or brown and they wear their hair long. The male dwarves favor long beards and mustaches too. Dwarven clothing tends to be simple with earth tone colors with rough material. Dwarves usually wear one or more pieces of jewelry of no real great value or glamour. The consider flaunting wealth bad taste! Elfs Though their lives span several human generations, elves appear at first glance to be frail when compared to man. However, Elves have a number of special talents that more than make up for their slightly weaker constitutions.

Elf: Elves, the most common type, are somewhat shorter than men, never growing much over 5 ft. tall. Male elves usually weigh between 90-120 lbs., the females between 70-100 lbs. High Elves are dark-haired, and their eyes are always a beautiful deep shade of green. The features of an Elf are delicate and finely chiseled. Elves are very pale of complexion, which is odd because they spend a great deal of time outdoors. They also tend to be slim, looking almost fragile. Both of this attributes are the result of a constitution that is weaker than a humans. Elvish clothing tends be colorful, but not garish. They often wear pastel colors, especially blues and greens. Because they dwell in forests, however, high elves will often wear greenish-grey cloaks to afford them quick camouflage. Elves have learned that is very important to understand the creatures, both good and evil, that share their home. Because of this, elves may speak the tongue of goblins, orcs, hob-goblins, gnolls, gnomes, and halflings, in addition to common and their own highly-developed language. They will always show an interest in anything that will allow them to communicate with, and learn from, their forest-dwelling and homeland neighbors.

Fairy: These creatures appeared after the gates of Tir Nor opened. Male Fairies are between 5-7 inches in height the females between 3-6 inches in height. Their eyes are silver, their hair of various bright (almost florescent) colors. They also seem to let off a glow like a light bug that gives away their presence. Fairies are not normally fighters, but they possess natural magical abilities. A fairy can disappear for periods of 30 seconds at a time. Plants and trees seem to come to life to aid or conceal these small creatures from harm. They do however possessed miniature daggers, and occasionally the males carry bow and arrows. The females are usually the food gatherers, and healers. The bows and daggers are not lethal weapons but do prove to be quite painful if not irritating to their giant opponents! Their weakness? SUGAR CUBES!

Gargoyle: Mythical creatures that have existed for thousands of years, and possibly many more, simply for the fact that they are able to hide relatively well. Most gargoyles will have wings of some sort, but wither they are functional or not is another story entirely. All Gargoyles have rough, almost stone like skin and incredible dexterity and concentration skills, after all they are most famous for pretending to be the statues above the cathedrals and buildings they live within. Gargoyles have a strong sense of honor most times and once they adopt a dwelling to live within they will guard it with their lives against any attackers.

Gnome: Smaller relatives of the dwarves, gnomes are shy and rarely seen by other demi-humans. They tend to dwell near secluded forests, and live peaceful lives. Short and stout, the gnome looks like a compact version of the dwarf, although two major facial features help to distinguish them. Gnomes do not let their beards grow longer than half a foot, and they have long broad noses fully twice the size of any dwarf's. The skin of a gnome is any shade of wooden brown, sometimes with a hint of grey. Their hair is white, and their eyes are shades of blue. Gnomish clothing tends towards leather and earth tones, with jewelry to match. Gnomes speak their own language and are often able to converse with goblins, Halflings, and dwarves. Many are able to communicate with burrowing mammals via a basic language of signs and animal sounds.

Goblin: Goblins are evil small humanoids would be merely pests if not for there great numbers. Goblins have flat faces, broad noses, pointed ears, wide mouths and small sharp fangs. There foreheads slope back, and their eyes are usually dull and glazed. They always walk upright, but the arms hang down almost to there knees. Their skin color range from yellow through any shade of orange to a deep red. Usually a single tribe has members all of the same colors. There eyes vary from a bright red to a gleaming lemon color. They are about 4 ft. in height weighing no more than 90 lbs. Goblins hate bright sun light!

Half-Ogre:  Half-Ogres are the offspring of an Orc and an Ogre. No-one really knows, or wants to know, how this comes about. They are about seven feet tall, and are nearly hairless. They are quite powerful and large, and their bodies are nearly all muscle. Unfortunately, they have all the cunning and tact of a six-year-old child, and the coordination of a drunk. They have a rash temper, but are easily distracted, and so if you are careful it is fairly easy to avoid conflict with one. Many store-owners have Half-Ogre workers, for they can work almost tirelessly, and can lift hundred-pound barrels as if they were pillows. Half-Ogres have neither the near-berserk fury of Ogres, nor the partial intelligence of Orcs, but have a simple kind of behavior which is almost pitiable. They are not truly evil, but are frequently exploited due to their stupidity. Half-Ogres are almost exclusively Warriors. As a result of their innate lack of intellect combined with their incredible resilience, they are quite resistant to magic.

Human:  Take a look into the mirror in real life, and that's a human. If you somehow think you aren't human, please seek help. Otherwise those things with two legs, that look JUST like you....those things are what we call humans. :)

Kang: Imagine a cross between a snake and a lizard, standing on two feet like a human and with the intelligence of a predator, and what you have is the Kang. They are a mysterious folk from the depths of secluded swamps and jungles, and are rarely seen in mannish cities. When they do venture forth, it is usually to see the odd splendor of the outside world, and so the specimens encountered outside of their homes are usually more intelligent and friendly than their exotic jungle brethren. Kang are tall, some nearing seven feet in height, and are broadly muscled. Their scaly skin is not much thicker than human skin, and is a different color for each individual. They have a strange loping walk, and are not very flexible, which is odd since they are snake-like. Kang apparently worship a deity of Peace and Healing, and many of them are Paladins, on some personal crusade to extinguish evil in the world. They are fierce fighters, but do not do well in Magery. They make good Clerics, Warriors and Witchunters. They are also apparently immune to poison of any kind.

Mimic: Another creature which has lived its life through it's ability to hide. These creatures true forms are unknown to any but themselves, and sometimes, even the Mimic forgets its true form after a while. Mimics are able to impersonate just about any humanoid race there is, altering its body to look like whatever it prefers. A Mimic will normally choose one form that it likes, and have a few others it will shift between as it takes immense concentration, and knowledge of the persons body that they are shifting into. It is unknown how long Mimic's live, for they have never stayed within the same form long enough to be studied and kept up with, but most are believed to have lived hundreds of years with the eldest even knowing how to take up the mannerisms of the persons they imitate. NOTE: Mimic's can NOT change into any character within the game, if a Mimic does try this their character will be erased.

Mutant: This race is self explanatory, they are outcasts. Any race can be a mutant, but it is not by choice, but rather by birthright. Mutants have defects within their body, be it physical, or mental that single them out from the others of their kind often leaving them alone and outcast from their societies.

Mystical Creature: Mystical Creatures are those that are not defined within the pages. they can be almost any type of creature wither it be real or imagined. Only two requirements must be made for your race to be a Mystical Creature. 1. You must submit a detailed background telling about your race so that we know what it is we are looking at. 2. Your race MUST be approved by the game's owner directly before your sheet will be posted on the games pages.

Nymph: Nymphs are beautiful creatures who live usually in woodland areas. Their beauty is incomparable and are usually chased around by satyrs. Nymphs tend to be about 5'-5'6. They are attractive and it is said that their song is hypnotizing to Many races. NOTE: you can NOT hypnotize someone with a nymph's song

Pixie: Pixies are faerie-kin to brownies, sprites, nixies, leprechauns, and elves. They are the most intelligent and mischievous of the bunch! These naturally invisible creatures dwell in idyllic woodlands and take a particular delight in harassing travelers with their pranks. Pixies are elfish creatures, about 2 ft. weighing 30-50 lbs. When visible their facial features resemble those of elves with proportionately longer ears. They have two silver moth wings that enable them to fly. Pixies dress in brightly colored clothing, and often wear a cap and a pair of shoes with curled and pointed toes. Pixies have their own language, but can also speak the language of sprites and common tongue.

Orc Orcs bred by the Gods for battle are single minded in there desire for conquest. They abuse the weak and quickly cower beneath the stronger. Ideas and objects unrelated to war or battle have no value to an Orc. They are the mortal enemies of Humans, Dwarfs, and Elves and seek to slay them whenever possible. Orc's naturally have IR vision, high endurance to surpass any race, and formidable strength. The are greenish of skin, usually between 7-9 ft. in height. There intelligence is that of a young child. Beware of their temper tantrums!

Ogre:
This huge figure towers nearly ten feet above the ground. It wears heavy leather skins, and wields a massive club bound with iron. The ogre's massive musculature makes you feel like an insect compared to his power.

Reptillian:These creatures are, of course reptiles, but with near human, if not greater intelligence. They have been known to be Humanoid in shape, but still retain their cold bloodedness and scales. Most Reptiles are extremely Rude, preferring a solitary life, and when confronted for what ever reason are often very violent and easily angered.

Satyr: Also known as fauns, are hedonistic creatures that frolic in the wild places of the world. They love fine food, strong drink and passionate romance. A satyr might be described as a horned man, with legs of a goat. Its hair is usually red or chestnut brown, while the hooves and horns are jet black. For the most part satyrs are most likely to be carrying good wine or musical instruments instead of weapons. They are however more than a little mischievous and often seek fun at the expense of those who wander to near to the woods.

Shape Shifter: The shape shifter is a very rare race and almost undetectable. They are very shy and feel that they are outcasts in any society and that they must steal of the lives of others to fit in. They are extremely intelligent and consume knowledge rapidly, most tend to be come wizards of some sort, being the innate magical powers they possess. They have the innate ability to change their appearance. Such changes of ones body are a terrible strain on both the Shape Shifter's body and personality. The shape shifter may change into any form he or she wishes provided he or she does not change any more than +25% or -25% of it's total body weight/height. Shapeshifters are akin to Mimics in many ways, but they cannot master the ability to completely and totally resemble a single being, instead they settle for being most like a race, taking on most of it's features, yet retaining some of it's own as well. NOTE: Shape Sifters can have up to 4 forms that they can change into, as long as it is stated within its background this does NOT take up a turn.

Vampire: Of all the chaotic evil undead creatures that stalk the world, none is more dreadful than a Vampire (So much like a Lich). Moving silently through the night, vampires prey upon the living without mercy or compassion. Preferring to rest deep underground, they must return to the coffins in which they pass the daylight hours for 5-6 hours to restore their strength, for their power is renewed by contact with soil from their graves. This does not mean that Vampires can not go out into the daylight. Although this can be irritating to the skin and with fledglings very painful. Most prefer the evening hours in which to blend in better. One aspect that makes the vampire far more fearful than many of its undead kindred is its appearance. Unlike other undead creatures, the vampire can easily pass among normal men without drawing attention to itself, although its facial features are sharp and feral, they do not seem inhuman. In many cases, a vampire's true nature is revealed only when it attacks. There are ways in which a vampire may be detected by the careful observer, however. Vampires cast no reflection in a glass, cast no shadows, and move in complete silence. Vampires have no taste for food or drink, and do not have children unless they go through the embrace. Vampires can not be killed by sunlight and are not repulsed by Holy Objects.

Lycanthrope: These can be of any animalistic race known to man, they start out as human and for some unknown reason are infected as that is the best way to describe what happens to them. All Lycanthropes must have Human as their basic race, with the second being an animal of some sort, the most common being canine, or feline. Lycanthropes can take on full, or half form of their animal race at will, though during the night of a full moon they MUST remain in their full animal form. Lycanthrope whom stay within their bestial forms too long begin to take upon the characteristics of that animal, developing claw like hands and feet, a sharpening in the shape of the ears, larger canine teeth and such.
