Match Report: -

After taking the lead through Jon Dahl Tomasson. Rodriguez pulled off a suberb volley which is a strong contender for goal of the tournament, a real cracker. The ball was lifted over a defender on the semi-circle and passed to the No.6 through the air, where he was waiting on the corner on the left hand side of the box. With one shot, he volleyed it into the top left hand corner leaving Sorensen no chance.
However, this goal was not enough and Jon Dahl Tomasson stole the show with a header in the 87th minute to gain 3 points for Denmark, who are now sitting nicely at the top of Group A.
