Too good to miss

STROOD student Robert Holloway has received a prize for being a model pupil. Robert, 17, of Gordon Road, was presented with the award by the Temple School, Cliffe Road, Strood, for 100 per cent attendance. He was a pupil at the school between 1995 and 2001 and never missed a single day. Robert, now at Mid Kent College, said: ‘’I just didn’t want to miss any time because it would be difficult to catch up.’’ Proud father Brian said: ‘’He has been sick but still gone out of the door, he just loved school so much.’’

1995 - 2001

I am Robert Holloway I was born in Chatham Kent At All Saints Hospital on 10 May 1984. I live in Strood with my mum and dad two sisters and one brother I have 1 pet cat and a guinea pig both sadly died. I stated school at 5 years old at St Nicholas C of E Infant School untill I was 7 years old. In 1991 untill 1995 and then I went to St Mary's c.p. Junior school untill I was 11 years old. I had two very good teachers I had Mrs.K. Morrison and Mr.P. Crawford I got a load of achievements and certificate I got good attendance. I went to Temple School in 1995 untill 2001 then I got a load of qualifications and I got achievements Temple School for prizegiving 2001. I got 100% attendance in my school life then I become the first pupil ever in Temple School history and I got a trophy. Then after people took my photographs and also had a piece in the local newspaper. I also got one for prizegiving 2000 for mathematics. I had four good teachers that help me Mr Moore, Mr Nelson, Mr Batey and Mr Patel. My leisure interest are football, cricket, snooker, pool, bar billiards, darts, horse racing, greyhound racing, formula 1, toca touring car championship, car raliy's, show jumping, tennis, golf, table tennis, motobike racing, hockey, boat racing, boxing, basketball, rugby, ice hockey, athletes, ten pin bowling, karate, judo, taekwondo and other marshal arts, kick boxing, swimming, all cycling racing, WWE World Wrestling Entertainment and TNA Wrestling. I also like computers watching television and all pop music and all sorts of films and board games and card games. Between 2001 & 2002 at Mid Kent College I have won my frist ever pool tournament in GVEC it stands for General Vocational Educational Course with a brilliant victory by double the black in to the pockect then I deserve to win it. Also at Mid Kent College between 2001 & 2004 I have done it again by getting another 100% attendance in my college life by making history once again but in my last two courses I got my achievements by getting my certificates.
