Just a note to thank everyone for all the help with PtCS fundraising this year. Our brunches have been well received and occasionally profitable, and thanks to all of you, our annual People's Choice and Oscar award shows raised enough funds for us to continue to operate the peer counselling and referral line for another year.

Kudos also to Gen-Q (formerly Inside Out) the GLBT youth group, for being an amazing presence in the community, and continuing to offer a safe social environment for GLBT folks under 25.

Look for updates and our AGM notice coming soon!

Sorry it's been so long since we've updated! PTCS is still going strong, with a store boasting a wide variety of Pride wear and jewelry, including body rings and soon, Diverse-City t-shirts from the Pride Committee!

August 17th, come on out to the GLCR for some summer fun, PTCS style. Carnival games, drink specials, plenty of prizes and lots to eat. There is no bad!

A note of thanks to Curt S. for keeping us technologically advanced.

Additionally, a fond farewell to Stef M. who sat on the PTCS board last year, and is leaving us to pursue her career goals in Winnipeg--good luck, Steffy!

This is a reminder that the inaugural meeting of the new Gay Moms and Dads
group is set for Thursday, May 8 @7:30 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room at the

The Annual General Meeting for Pink Triangle Community Services (PTCS) takes place Monday, May 5, 2003, at 7:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room at the GLCR.

This is your chance to become involved in Regina and Southern Saskatchewan's only GLBT community health organization. In space generously donated by the GLCR, we operate a peer counselling phone line, and a store with GLBT merchandise. We support a number of peer support groups, including the Youth Group, the New Happenings support group for people coming out later in life, and a support group for Gay Moms and Dads (their first meeting is Thursday, May 8th at 7:30 PM at the GLCR). We also sponsor educational forums on topics of interest to the community.

You must hold a valid 2003-2004 PTCS membership to vote at the AGM. Memberships are available from PTCS board members, or just prior to the AGM.

There is a lot of important work to be done, and this is your chance to help! We need more members, and we need more volunteers. Please come out (so to speak)and show your support!
