PC
If you've got a PC, you can use the LINE OUT or DIGITAL OUT from your soundcard to a relevant input. If you have a TV/Projector with VGA input you can play games on it! Don't use the projector/TV for word-processing- it'll strain your eyes as thier not as clear as PC monitors.
You can also buy a DVD-ROM drive, a MPEG-II card for AC-3 out & high-quality S-Video out (Video cards like the Matrox G400 & TNT2 Ultras with S-Video out are awful) Stick to a MPEG-II card S-Video out. Then you have a cheap but good alternative to a DVD-Video player- although a bit annoying you need the PC on & whirring in the background, and no remote to change subtitles, go to main menu, etc (you need to use the mouse & keyboard)
