| Two people passed away recently with multitudes of media coverage: Pope John Paul II and Terry Schiavo. This is my page every once in a while I feel the need to write something a little more editorial. Of the two recent tragic deaths it is my opinion that the death of the man who has been pope for the last 25+ years derserves media coverage. The personal and unfortunate events that lead to Schiavo's death deserve respect for her and the family. Why does everybody feel the need to weigh in on a matter that has nothing to do with them? Let the family decide/battle in court in peace and keep your little vigils/protests/prayers to yourself. And don't shove that crap down my throat on CNN twenty-four hours a day. |
