| We all went to Joslyn's last Wednesday for a potluck dinner. Joslyn made her all-american meatloaf with oozy cheese in the middle (we all liked it except for the cat) and there were many other fine dishes. Joy made fruit salad which I carried over on the subway. Life is like a fruit salad, you never know what you're gonna get. I found out that New Yorkers are very friendly on the subways when you are carrying around a fruit salad. Even the policemen we walked by commented on it. The evening ended with an inspiring game of Trivial Pursuits won by "team green": Anna, Sharie, and Matt. |
