Yusuke in Kudaran was written on a whim when I was in my Alice in Wonderland kick. The characters are slightly out of character and some have even switched personalities. Yusuke is the main character, not Karasu, though Karasu does play a vgery important role in this version. Yaoi implications, though nothing sexual really happens. Only in Wonderland could Karasu act this way.
The chapters are individually named and in order.
The Book Report: Yusuke was assigned to write a book report, but procrastinated until the last minute. Keiko, Kurama, Kuwabara, and Botan are there to make sure he does it. Hiei, on the other hand, just wants to nap on the windowsill. Because of his procrastination, when Yusuke finally got a book, all that was left was Alice in Wonderland.
Later That Afternoon: Yusuke is finally allowed a break and decides to take a nap. However, when he wakes up, he is on the boundries of Wonderland and comes face to face with...White Rabbit Hiei?
Kudaran...aka...Wonderland: Yusuke decides to persue White Rabbit Hiei to find out WHAT he could possibly be late for, however, White Rabbit Hiei has no interest in talking to Yusuke and darts into a pit.
Into the Pit: Yusuke follows White Rabbit Hiei into the pit and loses him through a tiny door. Yusuke finds himself in a strange room where he meets a colorful character...Cheshire Youko. Cheshire Youko proves of little help and quite crafty. Yusuke is sucked down a drain into Wonderland's swampland where he meets.....Karasu?
The Tweedles: After leaving Dodo Karasu behind, Yusuke returns on his chase after White Rabbit Hiei. He, however, comes face to face with Yomi and Mukuro...er....Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.
The Tea Party: After getting away from the Tweedles, Yusuke comes upon a modest home where three familiar faces are having a tea party. However, White Rabbit Hiei interferes with the party and sends Yusuke on the chase again.
The Invisible Demons: Yusuke finds White Rabbit Hiei's home and demands some answers. However, Hiei mistakes Yusuke for his servant-girl, Anastasia. Yusuke somehow is transformed into a woman. Hoping the little Hiei-figure is gullible, he pretends there are invisible demons in the house.
Dodo Karasu Returns: While panicking over the Invisible Demons, Hiei is approached by Dodo Karasu, who offers to help evict the demons. Yusuke becomes a man again and convinces Karasu to protect the sniveling Hiei while he pretends to defeat the monsters....now they are off to see the Queen.
The Queen of Hearts: Dodo Karasu is left at the gates outside while White Rabbit Hiei leads Yusuke through a grand garden labyrinth to see the Courtyard of the Queen of Hearts. There, they see many familiar faces...and Yusuke is summoned by Her Majesty.
THAT'S the Queen?!: Oh MY! The Queen of Hearts is....KOENMA! And he...er...she is challenging Yusuke to a game of Ten Pins!
Ten Pins...Strike!: The pins are actually little duplicates of Pu! However, the game goes arry when Cheshire Youko appears and messes things up for Yusuke. Now the Queen of Hearts is furious...but White Rabbit Hiei insists Yusuke should have a trial.
The Trial: The Queen of Hearts doesn't believe Yusuke's story about Cheshire Youko and is determined to chop off his head. However, by a twist of fate, Koenma wants a recess for milk and cookies....however, Cheshire Youko tries to bribe/blackmail Yusuke into doing perverted favors for him in return for Youko's cooperation to prove Yusuke innocent.
After Recess: Yusuke refused Cheshire Youko's perverted offer. Now the Youko is leering at him invisible on a shelf. Only Yusuke can see him. Koenma is ready to chop off Yusuke's head when they run out of witnesses...but Yusuke comes up with a plan and sends White Rabbit Hiei out to retrieve a surprise witness.
Out With a Bang: Cheshire Youko is found out and is on the run in the Gardens. The Court is persuing him while Dodo Karasu and Yusuke are far behind. Karasu nearly drops from the chase in self-pity until he hears about Cheshire Youko's trick against Yusuke. Furious, Karasu grabs Yusuke and takes chase after Cheshire Youko.
Tick Tick BOOM: Battle of the Demons! Dodo Karasu found Cheshire Youko and the two are commensing in a battle of a lifetime. Eventually, Cheshire Youko is finally apprehended and put under arrest. Yusuke and Karasu are free to go.
Pardon Me: Now pardoned, Yusuke leaves the court with White Rabbit Hiei and Dodo Karasu to try and return home. Yusuke tells Karasu that he owes him his life and Karasu asks for repayment for the deed. Yusuke accepts the responsibility and allows Karasu to ask anything he wanted of Yusuke. Afterwards, Yusuke must chase after White Rabbit Hiei again and finally catch him to go home....but he wakes up to a surprise!
Home Sweet Home: All is over and done and the team reflects on Yusuke grade and on the dream he had told them about. However....where's Hiei?
