Easter Seal Skate with the Renegades and Rusty Anchors

Southwood Arena, Red Pad, Community Complex

Runs from 6:15pm to 7:05am

Come skate with your favourite Renegade or Rusty Anchor and raise money for a good cause. There will be a meet and greet prior to the skate from 5:00-6:00pm and then the skate with great prizes for the top fundraisers. A minimum $20 individual pledge or $30 for a family gets you into the skate. Participants are also invited to stay for the hockey game where the Renegades face Simcoe. There will also be a teddy bear toss when the Renegades score their first goal. Teddy bears will be available for purchase for $10 with proceeds to Easter Seals. All teddy bears will be collected and donated to the Salvation Army for their Christmas baskets. Pledge forms can be picked up at Boston Pizza or the Co-operators at 899 Dundas St. Drop your pledge forms and money off at Boston Pizza by November 15 and receive a coupon for a free slice of pizza at the meet and greet. New for this year, high school students who raise at least the minimum pledge and come out for the skate will qualify for 3 hours of volunteer time.
